Hello.

Wondering how I get the Mercenaries 1.1 patch to work properly on either DOSBox or the Windows XP Hook.

After I installed the 1.1, I installed the XP Hook and ran Mercs under Windows. But when I tried to play, it just went black and cut off. Any suggestions?

Do not use 1.1 ... many times it kills mercs...

I guess then I should have tried the upgrades back in Merc's hay-day, eh? Way back when there were these strange computers called "Windows 95/98" that could run Mercs without patches or DOSBox ...

It is not impossible for it to work, just unlikely. It does run for some people.
