New here and can't seem to find the answer to this question after hunting around a bit. My Mech 2 dos install running through MechVM seems to only run in 800x600 mode; is there a way to make it run in 1024x768?
I know my Win 95 copy would run 1024x768, but it won't work unfortunately.

That is strange 1024 is always there whenever I look.
Mechvm would not effect anything to do with that though I am pretty sure.

Usually when you install the game 1024 is always there as an option. It is the 95 versions which do not have 1024 selectable and has to be hex edited to work in 1024.
I have never seen a DOS version of mech2 without that being selectable.
Anyway alternatively could you try and install the game yourself without mechvm? there are plenty of instructions in the FAQ section on how to do this.
Pretty much that is what i will be having you do if you come on IRC as that is the easiest way to find the problem.

I'll do the chat sometime soon, as I'm busy tonight...just let me know when you're on. It's funny that it won't give the option, as the VESA768 file is there in the vfx folder, which indicates to me it -should- have the capability, but who knows.
