problem with sound

Post by chelestra »

I tried running vdmsound and this is what I got:

VDMSound DOS loader, version 2.01 (Aug 04 2001)
Copyright (C) 2000-2001 Vlad ROMASCANU.

VDMSound is covered by the GNU Public License (GPL), version 2 or later, as
published by the Free Software Foundation, Inc. (http://www.fsf.org/).

Loading 'VDDLoader.dll'...
NOLFB by Ken Silverman (advsys.net/ken) 09/21/2002MOUSE2KV v.1
Win2k/NTVDM/VESA/Mouse utility by Peter Maceluch

Designed to address the issues with mouse cursor being unable
to reach whole screen in some DOS programs in Win2k

Special thanks to Vlad ROMASCANU for MOUSESET sources this program
was based on.
Error: MechWarrior2 CD-Rom not found.

And then it does nothing. Anyone encountered this one before?

You really should consider using the dosbox solution, much easier not worrying about the cd altogether.
James 3:5-10: My Reminder
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
