Hi,

Thanks so much for the great program. Nice to see people reviving an old favorite.

I am trying to get MW2 Mercs to work on my computer (Vista 64 Bit). I can't seem to get it to run properly in either the DOSBox or the Windows version.

DOSBox: Everything works great, game runs perfectly, until I try to start a mission. Screen goes black and just goes back to the failed mission screen. I tried renaming _dplay.dll to dplay.dll as instructed in another post but that didn't work. I also created a CD image and pointed MechVM to it while installing as I was told, but that didn't seem to work.

Windows version: Repeated "encountered an error and need to close" windows. This is accompanied by "Process ended with code 255" in MechVM. Anyone else seeing this problem?

If not, please post what is printed on your CD so we can get an idea of what edition of Mercs you are talking about. Please attach install-report to that post.
