Anyone have one of those old files?
We are trying to do some research for the replacement client.
Update: I found one, but still need one with a direct connection to a lobby.

For the record, Gamespy (now IGN) bought mplayer's assets years ago and turned it into the gamespy arcade technology they sell to developers these days. IGN is still alive and well and so s the product, just re-branded.
Thought I would mention this in passing...

aff, all we are interested though is a general idea of what they did when using the .mpi files.
