MechWarrior 2: Resource Forum

So I was thinking as I was playing around with my custom XP theme; why not we have a contest of some sort where members take snapshots of anything from MW2 gameplay (including Netmech), submit them, and have someone judge which picture would be the best desktop wallpaper?

Thoughts anyone?

Anyone else? I was thinking that the screenshots would have to be blank (no HUD or anything, you press F11 in-game to do that), stock photos only (no photoshoping, merging, or altering), but you'd be allowed to put the Mechwarrior 2 logo or Netmech logo on the top-right of the image if you wanted... perhaps your name on the bottom-right? And nothing is more anoying than a low-res desktop image, so 1024x768 resolution images would be highly incouraged.

i think since mech2 is so graphically challenging, i dont know if I can even think of a decent type screen shot to take for it

Well, I could throw in something to give you some ideas... the one image I was thinking of submiting would be something very, very different in the game.

I think Pepsi is right. I tried working with stuff without any real photoshoping, it was hard. But I think I finaly came up with somthing. I'll submit it when I am back online.

it can be done very easily if you use the cheat tinkerbell in the game.
