Randomly crashes when launching missions

I'm running the Pentium Edition (I think... I know that it's one of the Win95 versions) on MechVM on Windows Vista. Technically, my computer's a MacBook Pro with Vista Boot Camped onto it, but I don't think that's any different from a regular PC with Vista.

Occasionally, the game will stop responding when I launch a mission. Sometimes, it won't. When it doesn't work when I try to launch an Instant Action mission, I generally solve the problem by trying over and over again until it launches successfully (very blunt solution, I know), but it appears that none of the tutorial missions will launch and the campaign missions stop working past mission two.

Any help?

No one knows a solution to this yet, sorry. The Win95 are known to have that glitch. If you have a dual DOS/Win CD, try to install DOS. Otherwise, perhaps you will find a DOS version on Ebay.

Gar! Most of the users selling on eBay don't specify which version it is.

Or at least if it's the original DOS version.

Look at the pictures and match up to the FAQ on which version is which, and if there is no pic message them and ask. :)
I did link you a good copy of mech2 dos/95 in a previous thread. There is 2 days left at this point.
