I'm a bit confused, and the read-me seems a bit raw, but what do I do to make this program run? I want to use it to add mechs to-and-from GBL and 31cc.

But HOW do I make your program run? All I want to do is add mechs to and from MW2:31cc and GBL, what do I do to do that?

You can't add mechs, you can only replace mech configs. This is only needed to circumvent the overweight bug encountered for some Windows versions of MW2. In that case, use one of the following methods:

• Add a custom config to the PRJ file as described here or
• Hex-edit MW2.PRM.cfg as described here

Alright, hate to bother you again, but I think I'm done with my whole "trial-and-error" attempts. I see a lot of files that say "MechVM", but which file "runs"? When you say "...run MechVM..." how do I do just that? What file?
I have both MechVM folders from your site.

Unpack the win32 package and run MechVM.exe in the main folder. The other package contains source code and documentation.

Umm... It turns out all the problem was, I was running on XP. It worked just fine on Vista.

beats me on this one... if you are accessing the same file as you are on vista... it is very strange...

It works for me too, under XPSP3 and Vista-SP1. Can you post the error message, or a screenshot? Which service pack do you use?
