Compatibility in Properties does not come up

thanks 4 all the info that uve given (i'm the guy from utube srry 4 all those comments) but when i right click the option 4 compatability duz not come up. is that just my computer?

hmm, well are you on XP first off?
Second, have you tried using the Compatibility wizard instead of right clicking?
The wizard and the compatibility tab both do the same job.
The difference between the compatibility tab and the wizard is the wizard has more steps.

I've done all of the compatibility stuff and gotten the slugs patch; but the slugs patch will not attach to any files. Also, when I press play, I'll get a black screen, then a box, and then it just goes right back to the main computer page. Am I doing something wrong?
