MechWarrior 2: Resource Forum

hi guys

im using the MW2Hook patch on the win95 versions of MW2/GBL/MERCS
however in GBL im getting a crash whenever i customise mechs or when i select stone rhino in mech lab...

obviosuly without being able to customise the stone rhino it makes the last level next to uimpossible even under easy!!

any one got patches or advice?

Sorry to have to inform you there is no solution for GBL 95, or Mercs.
The only suggestion I can make is to buy the DOS versions.

However, for the 95 mech2 there is a fix.. assuming you are not using titanium.
Backup before replacing the dll! Also you will have to disable the mechlab fix in the hook.. /-mechlab

Wish I could help, but the 95 versions are terrible.
I would suggest a DOS version any day because of stability.

you can get around the bug by editing the prj and inserting a non stock mech... course to customize you still would need the shell for mech2 dos. This all assumes you are not using titanium.
