why not just use the netmech chat lobby???
you can start netmech, then press alt-enter to get it in a window
voila, chat in a window.
um DUH why don't we just use the chat in netmech?

Sorry we already considered that...
It is too laggy, and too much of a resource hog.
No Private messages, no notifications, no sound.... most would never notice when people came in the lobby.
