card not working

a while ago i bought a 3dfx voodoo2 for 5 bucks and i couldnt get it to work when i got home it gets warm when its plugged in but all you get is a black screen... what am i doing wrong?
Black screen when booting or black screen when in windows.
Basically could be a few things. BIOS setting might be wrong. Make sure that it is set to the card type that you put in.
If it just is showing nothing in windows likely it is a driver issue.
If after verifying the bios setting is correct then likely it is a bad card.
