MechWarrior 2: Resource Forum

Can anyone provide some tips on how to pass the Cadet Training mission titled, "Mech Handling". Game works great and I use a sidewinder joystick. However, I always fail the training mission. I have Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat game. I can pass several training missions but this one always stumps me. The Mech Warrior 2 game is for the Windows 95 OS and for the Diamond Monster 3d card. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Well, that one is pretty simple really. All you do is full throttle in the straights then full stop and turn. After that it is full throttle and repeat.
An example of this in practice can be seen in this video i did.

Ps. You do know that the training section has no bearing on the game itself right?
